What’s your Job?

As part of Storm Chaser you will be responsible for the technology powering our mobile games. It’s your passion to create and manage a healthy code base. You use modern software development best practices and constantly try to improve yourself and the products. The end user experience is on your mind with every line of code you write.

You will be responsible for building up and maintaining a scalable backend for an asynchronous multiplayer game. You will work together with experienced developers that believe in good test coverage, code review and clean code principles and are constantly looking for new tools and exploring new technologies. You will have the freedom to decide how to develop, host, deploy and operate the systems.

Your Skillset

  • Backend development experience with proven track record of working with multiple backend languages (e.g Ruby, Java, Scala, etc.)
  • Very good understanding of systems engineering, scalability, and algorithms
  • Experience implementing APIs
  • Database knowledge, preferably with relational and non-relational databases
  • A team player who likes to discuss solutions and ideas in a productive manner
  • Good knowledge of agile development principles and automated testing tools
  • Experience in working with C#/Unity-Clients and a shared .Net-Codebase is a plus!
